Misc. Notes From the uploader's family archives. The state of this old repaired copy makes it impractical to add the inner pages, all the more so as it is only the first volume, and the score hardly differs from the better printed one from Schirmer, fingerings included, despite the latter's editor's claim he did something about them.

Misc. Comments

The original edition mentions these studies were designed to accompany and complete Bertini's op.100.
Hofmeister, Leipzig, is printed under the mention Commission (which may mean Hofmeister had been "commissioned" to represent the Publisher), and [Robert] Cocks, London, under the mention Gros (=wholesale) et Imprimerie. However, this edition was printed in Paris by A.Chaimbaud & Cie, rue de la Tour d'Auvergne, 18. The work was also available at the composer's private address : rue de l'Echelle, 7.
