Misc. Comments

29 smaa Præludier for Orgel eller Harmonium was Nielsen's first organ work. The organist Johannes Hansen asked the composer to write some organ preludes for use in divine service. The preludes were composed over a relatively short period of time at the beginning of 1929, and it is likely that the whole collection was finished by the end of March.
