Though Grove Music lists the op.107 clarinet sonata as having an official viola part by Reger himself, the op.49 set are listed as clarinet alone.
The 2nd sonata is one of the very few works in music history that uses a triple sharp (x#), in the 3rd bar of the Fis-Dur section that concludes the piece, piano part.
