Pianoforte is specified (though referring to what we'd now call a fortepiano) - giving "harpsichord" for instrumentation only makes sense if the composer writes "cembalo") and the second covers a wide range (G below 2 Cs below middle C, for starters- I don't know one way or the other how difficult this music would be to play on much older instruments rather than the newer ones coming out around the time it was being written, anyone care to comment who does know? :) ) - Schissel
