| Extra Information | This work was used as an examination piece (Morceaux de concours) by the Conservatoire de Paris. The Conservatoire used this work in the following year(s): 1903, 1916. The (likely) first edition was published in 1899, written for Concours du Conservatoire de Nancy (source: BnF catalogue). Then a second edition was published in 1903, for the Concours du Conservatoire de musique de Paris (source: BnF catalogue). Presumably it was the second edition that was later reissued by Rouart, Lerolle & Cie. around 1923. Finally, WorldCat lists a few entries for a Salabert reissue from 1970, which used the plate number from Rouart, Lerolle & Cie. |
