According to the preface to vol. IX/27/1 of the Neue Mozart Ausgabe (p. xxiii), this is a variant of the Variations on an Arietta (H.155, Wq.118/2), although there is some doubt as to whether by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach was responsible for this version.
