This song seemingly appears in Eisler's music to the 1932 film Kuhle Wampe; apparently, though, Eisler did not include it in the 3 Lieder aus 'Kuhle Wampe', Op.27, his separately published collection of excerpted songs from the film. (Eisler did not assign an opus number to the film itself, though he published a suite of orchestral excerpts from it as his Op.26.)
