Misc. Comments

These constant pickups of 5/16 seem to be a miscounted 4/4...

Note: not the concertino recorded in 1994 on Hungaroton HCD 31139 (where the notes mention that the manuscript score had not- as of 1994 anyway - been rediscovered; the 3 sections are Allegro moderato - Adagio - Tempo primo ; and the opening is quite different from that of this concertino. Winter wrote at least 30 concertinos (or 30 even just for bassoon?) - indeed that concerto is entitled concertino no.30.) This, in one movement, may also more properly be a Concertino...

"Allegnato" - hastily written "Allegretto", it seems to me, with, I admit, one t too few... it happens? Just a conjecture though.

BSB has another C minor concerto by Winter (if not more than one) - see link @ WorldCat.
