Misc. Comments

Grove describes Bergliot as "melodrama, spkr, orch, 1871, orchd 1885". This is ambiguous, since it would have been for orchestra originally, so the 1885 orchestration would have been unnecessary unless the orchestration was changed. Any further clarification would be appreciated. --- Clarification: Bergliot existed as a sketch in 1871 and was revised and orchestrated prior to its first performance in 1885. The delay was caused by lack of publisher.
