It is not known whether this is an exact copy of Guarini's original, or an arrangement. All 8 parts start in treble clef and descend into the bass clef. For example, the first part's range is from B♭ above the treble clef staff, down to D below the bass clef staff. If this isn't a purely theoretical exercise, it is difficult to imagine who or what it was for.
