- Albert Küssner was an American pianist and composer. Born in Terra Haute, Indiana, he seems to have lived and worked in Chicago, and later in Florida, where he died. His father was originally from Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany, and the family operated a music store ('Palace of Music') in Terra Haute. Some of Albert's music was published in Chicago by his sister, Louise Küssner, a singer. Another sister, Amalia, was a world-famous miniaturist, who was commissioned to paint miniatures of the Russian imperial family. Albert seems to have written mainly light music.
