Unless we have reason to suppose Bellack and Bellak were different composers instead of fairly typical I think 19th century (and not just 19th century-and-earlier) carelessness with spelling..., I suggest a move from Bellack to Bellak (one silly reason: Amazon.com hits for James Bellack: 1.
