Category talk:Meddcelt of H.L

that's not meddcelt

that's meddeelt which seems to be an archaic word for imparted to, given to, as heard by, transcribed by, written down by the H.L. in question- H.L. are the composer's initials, meddeelt is just a verb form... Eric 19:16, 24 July 2011 (UTC)

You are most likely correct. The bad scan could've just made the "e" look like a "c"...--Lisztrachmaninovfan 07:24, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

I didn't know that before looking into it for awhile, mind. I have to admit (not that it's difficult admitting) there's a lot of fun tangential "stuff" to be learned when studying music (or substitute another large enough, global enough subject)... anyway. Thanks! Eric 18:11, 3 March 2012 (EST)
