For Cello and Piano (Grutzmacher)
|Work Title||Cello Concerto No.4|
|First Performance||1812 May, Munich|
|Composer Time Period||Classical|
|Instrumentation||Solo Cello; Flute, 2 oboes, 2 bassoons, 2 horns, strings|
This work is mentioned in a concert report from the AMZ of 1812 May, page 314. Possibly not the premiere?...
Parts (1873 copy) are at Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin - Preußischer Kulturbesitz, Musikabteilung, Berlin (D-B/ Mus.ms. 18850/13). (Thanks RISM.) (The original (or the 1873 version of it, which I assume however is a closer copy than this arrangement) has "Andante poco lento, which the arranger of this piano reduction changed to "Andante".)
