Navigation etc.

Edition Silvertrust has 1882 for publication date (see HMB: 1882, p.133), poss. around 1850s for composition. Later published in 1884 by Lienau/Schlesinger, too.

There is also by Eduard Franck a cello sonata no.1 in D major, op.6, published in 1846 by Stern. This has been recorded on a CD with one of Richard Franck's sonatas (no.2 in E-flat minor, Op.36) and Reinecke's 3 pieces for cello and piano; Audite has another CD with both of (Eduard) Franck's cello sonatas together. There are as of spring 2018 at least two recordings of the 2nd sonata Op.42- one on Audite and one on Naxos.
