  • Despite the fact that the title page (see subtitle above) lists no solo cantatas or duets, both the first and second cantatas are for solo voices (soprano and alto respectively), and no.5 is for 2 sopranos. Also, although the title page indicates that there is at least one for 4 and one for 7 voices, none of the 10 have more than these combinations.
  • Grove Music's classification, and thus this work page, seems to have interpreted "mit und ohne Violinen" to mean all of the violin parts were ad lib. However, an inspection of the parts reveals that some of the cantatas are "tacet", so the meaning should be that the violin parts are obbligato in the cantatas that have them, but not all of the cantatas have them.
