Waltzes

There are two official "Waltz sequences" from Der Rosenkavalier:

  • No.1 (Erste Walzerfolge), TrV 27c, compiled in 1944 from Acts I and II of the opera
  • No.2 (Zweite Walzerfolge), TrV 27a, compiled in 1911 from Act III of the opera (according to Grove, although other sources attribute the compilation to Otto Singer (1863–1931) with a date of 1934).
