A work whose inception stemmed from the dedicatee's wish to have a duet for organ. The first piece brings together 2 monodies which have nothing in common with Messiaen's Monodie which the dedicatee suggested as a possible starting (or ending ?) point. The second piece and third pieces were added in order to have something with more duration than a two- or three-minute work. The present score is a revised version of the first, bare bones effort. The titles are puns or jokes, no.1 plays on the term "monodie", no.2 on the grim or wary (weary ?) silence during the performance, and no.3 on the fact the pedal part for one duettist is non-existent.
