Very odd. Almost nothing by Parry has an opus number (what does? Ah. A Garland, Op.21. The work now known as Jerusalem, Op.208. English Lyrics, Op.176. Some others.) Why _this_? Anyhow, composed in three phases- 1877 , 1882, 1912. According to Farris (Seven Unpublished Organ Works by Sir C. Hubert H. Parry in Bodleian Library), based on a comparison of manuscripts, the 1912 fantasia is a slightly changed version of the 1882 fantasia while the 1912 fugue is an entirely new work with several similarities to its two (1877, 1882) predecessors.
