Fantaisie pour flûte et piano (Hüe, Georges)

It is very unlikely that this work is public domain in the EU, or in any country where the copyright term is life-plus-70 years. However, it is in the public domain in Canada (where IMSLP is hosted) and other countries where the term is life-plus-50 years (such as China, Japan, Korea and many others worldwide). As this work was first published before 1923 or failed to meet notice or renewal requirements to secure statutory copyright with no "restoration" under the GATT amendments, it is very likely to be public domain in the USA as well.

Concours du Conservatoire National de Musique de Paris (1913).

Worldcat entries disagree but (esp. WorldCat) suggest that this was, in fact, originally for flute and orchestra. Can anyone clarify?

Since it was originally commissioned for the 1913 Paris Conservatoire Concours, the competition itself would have been flute and piano. Many of these Concours works were orchestrated later by their composers, and sometimes it is difficult to find out whether the composer conceived of it first as orchestral, but had to use piano because the competition dictated that. The WorldCat entry strikes me as an assumption on two grounds: 1) there is no date on the publication, which means that it might not be the original, but most importantly 2) the spelling "Fantasy" is definitely not French. So in the end, we need to go by what was on the 1913 original publication. It does, in fact, say "avec accompagnement de PIANO ou d'orchestra", and although it is odd that it was another 10 years before the orchestration was published, it is clear that the conception in 1913 included an orchestral version. Accordingly, the orchestral tag has been added.
