Flute Concerto in G major, H.445 (Bach, Carl Philipp Emanuel)
Partial autograph, 1755?
At first, this was a copyists' score of C.P.E Bach's Concerto for Organ or Harpsichord (H.444/Wq 34) but later changes were made by C.P.E. Bach. The Flute part was created on an empty system at the top and the keyboard part crossed out at the beginning. Changes and additions to the String parts were also made. Mostly, the Flute part must be read from the right hand of the keyboard system, apart from where the Flute differs from the original. It is very possible to construct the original Keyboard version from this score, although it has survived in many other manuscripts.
