Misc. Notes:

Robert A. Hudson's MIDI file loaded into Cubase7 with VSL Imperial piano Close mic position on each channel. Adjusted treble and bass channel volumes a bit (wonderful they are separated in the MIDI file). Turned down all VSL reverb and added 2C Audio B2 Reverb (Small Theater patch) on the stereo output.

Misc. Comments

The Cover Sheet has the title as "Gondollied", but the music itself lists it as "Gondellied".

Not unusual; consistency of orthography was not a... well, anyway.

Hrm. If it's based on another work, RISM-online doesn't seem to have it (or no obvious match for it, anyway.) The rest of the 20 Joys collection did mostly consist of dances and variations etc. (see the linked page); this I guess falls in the original works part of that group...
