Misc. Comments

Published in 1837 by Lemoine. Publication noted in the Bibliographie de la France  1e série, 26e année, 40e de la collection, nº 29, 22 Juillet 1837, page 364, registration 34.

Only reaches a proper major mode with the più lento (bar 28) or perhaps a bit later. 3 flats are reached (after a 6-flat introduction) with the Allegretto at bar 21, but recurring accidentals actually keep the mode in minor for a little while longer.)
