As it is included in a manuscript titled VI Clavierkonzerte in eigenhändiger Partitur [VI Clavier Concertos in autograph score], Müthel must be counted as the most likely composer of this work. However, the score for this Concerto was largely copied by another hand, with Müthel only adding the title, instrumentation markings and the key signature, according to Max Schneider. Werner Braun discounts this as a work by Müthel based on stylistic grounds.
