Misc. Comments
The present sonata for harpsichord is the only one known to have been authenticated as being by G.B. Pergolesi. All other keyboard pieces other than his Sonata for organ in F are considered spurious.
Ironically even this piece is actually an arrangement done from the second movement of Pergolesi's violin sonata in G. In this version the editor has seen it fit to add in 2 missing bars which are present in the violin version but lacking in the harpsichord. These measures are shown in double bars.
Additionally some ornaments and slurs have been added to this arrangement based on similar ones found in the violin version.
