- basically, a string quintet movement in the concertante manner (subjective comment: not a complaint, I quite like Spohr's later quintets some of which also are at least in places somewhat like concertos for violin and string quartet. And in the 20th century, Pettersson's 1st concerto for violin is for violin and string quartet :) Anyhow.-Schissel)
