History

This Parisian firm, founded by Jules Iochem, published popular music from 1868 until 1899. It was managed by Iochem's widow in the later years. The firm was sold in 1899 to Louis Gregh, which in turn was bought by Rouart, Lerolle & Cie. in 1906. It was quite prolific, with 740 entries in the BNF catalog. Publications included many piano pieces by Bachmann and Battmann.
