Satyrspil = Satyr plays, like the 3rd play in a Greek trilogy (2 tragedies and a comedy). = comic opera.

The overture has been separately performed and recorded or broadcast (and lasts about 10 minutes), and has been dated to about 1897 (in some sources.) A suite has also been recorded (on the DaCapo label).

Actually this seems to be one part of a trilogy "Kampen med Muserne: Forspil, satyrspil og apoteose" from 1908 according to WorldCat which contains the orchestral score and orchestral and choral parts (arranged by Frederik Rung, manuscript copies it seems. Perhaps Forspil contains the overture in question.) At least partial manuscripts (autographs and copies) are, according to the catalog of the Danish Royal Library, in that library's possession.
