||Gagliano, Marco da
|Year/Date of Composition
||Palazzo Pitti of Florence on October 14, 1628
||Vocal soloists, chorus, and orchestra
Currently no information is easily available on the instrumentation of the orchestra. However, Gagliardo's orchestra for Dafne (his more famous opera) included recorder and curtal (forerunner of the bassoon), and on the basis of that, it is assumed that the orchestra for La flora included at least one or two woodwinds. More accurate information would be appreciated.
