This publisher started in Paris in 1835, but was most productive (about 1000 items) between 1860 and 1900. It mainly published light music, such as works by Alexandre Artus and Battmann. It was bought by its competitor Bornemann in 1902, but Le Bailly-Bornemann appears on Artus' covers as early as 1886.
