This piece is maybe part of the Veni Creator or it is just a separate piece. I could not have more info on the net. Here is the english translation of the text: Deliver me, O Lord, from eternal death, on that fearful day when the heavens are moved and the earth when you will come to judge the world through fire.
I am made to tremble, and I fear, when the desolation shall come, and also the coming wrath.
That day, the day of wrath, calamity, and misery, that terrible and exceedingly bitter day.
Rest eternal grant them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine on them.

Supposedly found in Latvia ; has this work in fact been authenticated or ...? It, or another Chopin Libera Me- I have not checked to see if the setting is the same- has also appeared on CPDL where the claim about Latvian library provenance or something of that nature ??? was made- I don't know , will look later to get this right... Also, see here - what do we want to do about this, very seriously, since really there is no evidence given for authenticity? (Schissel)
