History
Founded by Louis Gregh (1843-1915) (as composer he also used the pseudonyms Louis Bonardi & G. Strauss) in 1873 with the acquisition of the publisher Heu. Gregh subsequently absorbed the publishers Léon Escudier (1882), Egnot (Ch. Egrot?) (1884), and Iochem (1899). He sold the enterprise to Alexis Rouart (Rouart, Lerolle & Cie.) in 1907.
