  • This manuscript contains both an "Organo" part, and a "Violone o Tiorba" part, both of which are figured, and are largely identical (there is a separate violoncello part, unfigured). It would seem either figured part could be used, not necessarily both.
  • The obligato vocal parts are canto, alto, basso; the other two solo parts are "Canto Secondo à beneplacito" and "Tenore à beneplacito"; it stands to reason that, since he specifies 4 voices as an option, that one of those can be used without the other, but there is no indication as to which.
  • The ripieno vocal parts are 5-part (SSATB).
