- This mellifluent period piece "My Bliss rests on a single word from You" is typical of what Kostia Konstantinoff was composing in the twenties and thirties in his "less serious" dance hall moods, under the moniker Stanove, which is an obvious contraction of his real name, plus a geographical location of his native Ukraine. I have reconstructed the score from a set of manuscript parts in the composer's archives . The synthetic rendering is only approximate as the audio switch from clarinets to saxophones is not possible in this layout, nor is the percussion audible. The percussion player had to play the vibraphone as well which explains the alternating input. A variety of inconsistencies have been corrected along the way.
- The 1st and 2nd clarinet parts are labelled "alto clarinet", but this instrument is in E♭, and the key signature of the part indicates that it is a B♭ part. Further, if it was really an alto clarinet part, it would be below the B♭ (3rd) clarinet part in proper score order. Most likely this is a misprint, caused by the fact that these two parts double alto sax.
- The percussion instruments are unidentified, apart from a triangle part.
- The percussion part conforms to the composer's notation, which is why I have left it as is. The only specific indications are a triangle, and cymbals, with the drums being placed on a regular staff. As for the clarinet+sax parts they are ambiguously referred to as 1er Alto, 2° Alto, Ténor Si b, which is why I have placed them in that order but I agree the abbreviated indications are misprints, which I have corrected.
