The story is a simple tragic comedy. It is about a soprano (Talia Diamond) who shows up to a rehearsal with a composer (Harold Flubart, her accompanist) stoned and drunk. She convinces Harold to improvise instead of working on the music for the concert. She is an eccentric individual who believes in spirit worlds and that she is a channel to spirit world. She is shamanistic. She becomes sober in the middle of the rehearsal and calls her drug dealer who is fronted as a pizza delivery service. She convinces Harold to take drugs to go on a journey with her, into a collective consciousness. They sing a song about ecstasy in which she has a vision of her hero which turns out to be a rhinoceros. The rhinoceros is a vaudevillian costume; gawky and weird looking. She sings of the gifts her hero gives her and out of the ass of the rhinoceros comes things. The pitch of the music rises to a frenzy and Harold passes out from the drugs. She revives him and she sings a song about resurrection. Please see enclosed for more details.

The soprano character in this drama with music is manic; drug addiction, personality disorders, egocentricity, extroverted, and uninhibited about her sexuality. The mascara is dripping from her eyes during this music. She is a mess. She is self destructive. This piece is not for young children.
