There are two pieces claiming to be Notturno No.5. This piece is in D major and is from a later publishing. The earlier was published by Gombart and is a different piece in E-flat Major. Evidence is unavailable as to which is correctly numbered.
- The numbering appears to be the creation of Sibley. There is nothing on the score itself that states "No.5". I am therefore using only the opus number, which does actually appear in the score. Carolus 06:36, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
