Extra Information This is an arrangement of the Op.8 serenade. It was announced in December 1803, published in 1804 (according to Thayer). The composer disowns having made the arrangement in a letter to Hoffmeister of 9-22-1803, though he writes the arranger's work was much improved by him in places.
