Misc. Notes Only the organ plus a few cues prior to major entrances. In the parts, the first movement has a metronome marking of  = 50 rather than  = 100. The latter metronome marking makes more sense but it will have to stay that way unless a more serious mistake is found.

Navigation etc.

From the looks of it, this Concerto is meant for a portable organ capable of only one decibel level, one easily covered up by a modest string section playing forte. If played on a mighty church organ, having all stops pulled out is probably a bad idea.

The lack of horns is rather puzzling: most music of the period with trumpets has horns as well, and it is the presence of horns that does not guarantee the presence of trumpets. If the conductor does not want the horns to sit this one out, it would be entirely feasible to give them trumpet parts and have them read them as if for horn in low C.

It is believed that the soloist is expected to improvise a slow movement. There is no explicit indication that continuo is expected, but given the time period, it is a very reasonable assumption.
