Misc. Comments

Publication noted in the Bibliographie de la France 2e série, 85e année, Nº 5, 1 Février 1896, p.66, r.607. (vocal score) (copy listed of v.s. at Cornell Library in their catalog has ©1895.) Without looking at the vocal score, can't tell (right now) if there is a chorus (offhand guessing not.) The WorldCat circular of the premiere does not mention a chorus-- just the leads, the librettist, composer, ... but it may not have been common practice to do so.
