Misc. Comments
The Idylle (No. 6), Danse Villageoise (No. 7), Sous Bois (No. 4), and Scherzo-Valse (No. 10) were orchestrated by the composer in 1888 to form the Suite Pastorale. Enoch re-engraved the individual numbers starting in 1891 and included a number of Chabrier's revisions. The Dover volume is taken from the later issues.
