Scores and Parts
Dresden: F. Ries, n.d. Plate F. 700 R.
Original images: ca.300dpi, color jpg files approx. 3110 by 3880 pixels. Editing: re-sampled to 600dpi, converted to black and white tif files, de-skewed, and set uniform margins. This file is based on high-resolution images obtained from the source using a method explained on this page. F. Ries of Dresden operated from 1875 to 1881(ca.?) (during the same period that Robert Seitz operated). This Ries publication is not found in Hofmeister's Monatsberichte. The price and the engraving are identical to the Seitz edition. Comparing the plate to Hofmann's Op.50 quartet (1880), however, one estimates a date in the 1880s for this edition.
First edition (reprint)
Leipzig: Robert Seitz, . Plate R.S. 500.
