Extra Information The piano sonata of the same name is an arrangement of this original quintet, but may have been published slightly earlier ("The London Magazine": "N.B. The quintetto from which this was adapted, will be published in early 1825."- in a review of the already published piano sonata. - however Bibliographie de la France 1825 p.79 seems to confirm that the sonata was published in 1825 too.). The arrangement, plate 117, could perhaps have been published a bit earlier, backdating year of first publication if so (since YOFB is generally taken to include arrangements and publication history in general - including the piano sonata arrangement, in fact - though it is preferable as a rule that more explanation be provided than less, as here...)
