||This is most likely a case of copyfraud. The plate number on most pages is "A.1." Universal did not have a New York office in 1925, and the engraving is clearly the work of Waldheim-Eberle, the Viennese engraver. 17827 is also considerably higher than any other U.E. plate number from the 1920s.
