First published by the English firm of Longman and Broderip. All three of the Opus 82 trios are dedicated to Haydn's friend Rebecca Schroeter. Hob.XV:25 is known as the "Gypsy" or the 3rd movement as the "Gypsy Rondo".

Also published by J. Schmitt of Amsterdam, as was Op.86 sometime in the mid-1790s.
