Misc. Comments

  • The Reinschrift Mus.Hs.6011 was made by the copist of St. Florian, who also made Reinschrifte of Bruckner's Psalm 114 and the Magnificat.(C. van Zwol, p. 697)
  • The Reinschrift Mus.Hs.19701 is presumably the score, which Riedelbauch used for his historical performance of 1971. As indicated on the score, Riedelbauch used for his studio recording of 1972 two separate SATB choirs in part III (Groß ist unser Herr), which provided a nice canon effect.
