  • Composition date from Sherman and Thomas' thematic catalogue; Manuscript at H-Bn dated 8 jun [1]790.
  • Grove Music lists the title for this as "Divertimento", and lists the instrumentation as "eng hn, vn, va, b", the "b" indicated bass instrument, so there is obviously some room for variation in this line.
