History
Founded in 1905 by Alexis Rouart (1869-1921) through the purchase of the Paris publishers Meuriot and E. Baudoux et Cie. Other notable early-20th century composers published in this catalogue include Albeniz, Duparc, D'Indy, Hüe, Koechlin, Poulenc, Ropartz, Severac, and Turina. Lerolle continued to run the firm after Rouart's death and ultimately sold the catalogue to Francis Salabert in 1941.
