Misc. Notes:

The 2008 reprint edition includes changes made by the composer after publication, inserted as manuscript pages. Since Maho was somewhat negligent in registering copyright, determining the publication date may prove more difficult than for many a French publication of the period...

Misc. Comments

Mentioned in Hofmeisters Handbuch (1876) as published by Maho?

(Not sure where the 1870 date comes from? But a serenade by Widor- this one, or op.6, or the one in op.19, perhaps, or another, but mind you, at least in one mentioned case, a serenade needing a cellist!... - was performed a few times in 1872, acc. to the Revue et gazette musicale.)
