- These sonatas seem to be written for either of German Flute or English Flute (recorder). They fit nicely on the treble recorder. A version for tenor recorders / violins has been made recently.
- Grove Music lists them for recorder only.
The University of Rochester source @ RISM for instance opens Largo for sonata 3 in C whereas the source on which M. Grayson's typeset is based opens Allegro (etc.)
