Navigation etc.

Birth info on Bernhard Schmidt (1870- ) from U. Chicago - Newberry Library catalog.

There is at least one commercial recording as of 2023.

Assuming the quartet was dedicated to the Bohemian Quartet between 1894 and 1905, Wihan is the cellist rather than Otto Berger (cellist from 1891 to 1894) or Ladislav Zelenka (1914-1934, (if 2nd edition dedication etc)... though the group was called the Czech Quartet from 1918 on...) (or we could create a page for the Bohemian Quartet and move all the dedications for them there...)
